We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new Vedic Astrology course starting on February 2, 2025. This three-year program will be led by Kunal Shah, Jitendra Shahiwala and faculty members. who will impart traditional Vedic astrology in a structured format. We will adhere closely to the teachings of Sage Parāsharā, the father of astrology, as outlined in the Brihaḍ Parāsharā Horā Shāṣtra (BPHS).
In addition to studying traditional Jyòtishā principles, we will incorporate spiritual disciplines grounded in Vedic philosophy. We believe that without such discipline, students may struggle to sustain and apply this ancient divine knowledge for their own benefit and for the betterment of society.
Vedic Jyotisha, commonly known as Vedic astrology, is an ancient Indian astrological system rooted in the Vedas, which are the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism. While “Hinduism” is a modern term, we prefer the word “Sanātanā,” meaning “eternal,” as it resonates more deeply with Jyotishā, often referred to as the “eyes of the Vedas.” This system is not merely a means to predict the future; it is a holistic philosophy that seeks to understand the cosmos and its impact on human life.
